Sparta Kalamata Olives Kalamata table olives are a product of high nutritional value, low in sugars, while they contain a large olive mass compared to other fruits of nature (~ 20%). It has been proven that 3 Kalamon olives give 45 calories and are equivalent to 1 teaspoon of olive oil. They are an ideal source of monounsaturated fatty acids, they contain significant amounts of vitamin A and carotenoids and small amounts of vitamins B1, B6 and B12. Black olives are rich in tocopherols. The trace elements of olives are potassium, calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium, while those preserved in brine contain large amounts of sodium. Due to their vitamin A content, olives help the body in its normal growth, reproduction, vision, skin and have anti-cancer effect while tocopherols have antioxidant properties and also anti-cancer effects. Their slightly bitter taste is due to oleuropein, a phenol with many health-protective properties. The content of oleuropein in table olives depends on the process of debittering. It is a tasty Mediterranean appetizer with balanced flavor and light texture. The green olive paste “Sparta” consists of Greek green olives, while extra virgin olive oil, aromatic herbs and a pinch of pepper are combined harmoniously to meet the most demanding customers. It is available in glass jars of 185gr.       You may prepare a tasty bruschetta with green olive paste.

Sparta - Caper Capers are a good source of potassium, calcium, sulfur, magnesium and phosphorus. Capers are also rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The oleic, linoleic and linolenic acid represent 27-37% of its seed content. Rich in antioxidants, such as phenols and flavonoids. Gives an ideal spicy taste and nutrients to your salad accompanied by Sparta Gold olive oil. It is packed in a glass container of 105g, offering a special taste to your dishes.
